Letting Go Meditation
Sit in simple cross legged position (tailor sitting) or half or full lotus. Rest your hands on your knees, palms up to gain energy or down to ground yourself. Close your eyes. Take a slow deep inhale (as much as possible, then suck in a little more air). Exhale while meditating “Let Go”. Inhale again deep and slow while meditating “Let God”. Continue exhaling “Let Go” and inhaling “Let God” as long as desired/needed. I have found that this meditation is very helpful anytime, anywhere including lying down before sleep as my mind my be worrying or standing in public to release frustrations.
